December 1 morning - the end (of 2020) is nigh

So you're either just as stupid as DJ or don't give a fuck that people don't want politics in the morning threads.

Which is it?

I say both.

easy with that work, Roob.

some folks here are very sensitive about when it gets used.

We still send Christmas cards. Sending out about 75 this season.
I gave up on that a couple years ago. Found myself ordering them and then not actually getting them sent.

I went from making/providing about 80% of the meals at home to 99%.

It's a lot of pressure.

I think we split it pretty evenly. The issue is agreeing on what to make.

Good morning good people. Well it's December. That means we'll have Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and Festivus. That should cover just about everybody.

Hoping that Ohio State makes it for Saturday. I have my doubts. Cowboys play next Tuesday. That's a long break since Thanksgiving.

Cold as hell here. Cold for Texas. Not Fargo, ND cold.

Thought for the day: Inside me there’s a thin person struggling to get out, but I can usually sedate him with four or five cupcakes.

Morning, butt nuggets.

Grocery stores are already limiting purchases on paper products and disinfectants around here. We should be OK for a while, but it's still annoying that I can't even find cans of Lysol around here.
Shit. That's been limited to 1 per customer around here since March.

Still haven't found much Lysol, but apparently I was a hoarder of it before Covid because I found like 10 full cans in the basement. Gave a bunch to the school and still have 2 or 3 even after using it for 8-9 months way more frequently.

well my christmas has been less jolly without them

I have a meeting in half hour, it's scheduled for an hour, I'll be surprised if it takes more than 10 minutes.

We emailed out a reminder to help units process agreements faster, one of units that we work with regularly and have no issues with asked to meet. I replied no changes, your unit does a great job, no need to meet. They still want to meet.

Ok. I'll just verbally tell you same information I just emailed you. No changes, your unit does a good job.

I saw it when @Fish responded otherwise I would have missed it

speaking of wine...I bought a nice bottle for Thanksgiving with my mom. I go in to make my plate after all the pick ups had been made...and the wine is gone. My skank of a sister took it.

she owes me a nice bottle of red now.
Like, she just legit took an unopened bottle of wine and went home with it? It's bad enough if you take one back home that you brought. But she took a bottle of something she didn't bring?
