December 1 morning - the end (of 2020) is nigh

Must be because you live in a desert. I could go get a 9 foot tree for $75, easily. If I wanted a fir, probably $100
I think our 9-footer was $45.

must have been small one.

It's pretty easy to spend 200+ on a tree.
well I am not going to buy a full grown one, dipshit.

it will grow into the space I gave it.

I'm currently accepting handouts

An evergreen that's 5 feet tall will probably cost somewhere around $90-100, I'd guess. It's been a while since I've been in the tree game, though.

One of my favorite outings each year is when we take the kids to the tree farm and pick a tree to cut down.
Exactly. The farm we go to has trees you can cut, but we've had better luck picking a pre-cut tree. We still get the experience with the hot coco and whatnot. We usually go late morning and then to a bar/restaurant for lunch. Then we take the tree back, do all the decorating and I get shit faced.

Actually not so much. If you buy a good tree at a nursery you are likely to spend that or a lot more
We are clearing part of our woods to put up a garage and eventually a greenhouse. We still want to line the edge of the area with trees so there is some barrier to seeing the high lines forever. I bet each one will be well over $250. Trees are fucking expensive.

My first job was as a greeter at Pizza Hut. One of my responsibilities was to tend to the salad bar, which I assume is what started the ball rolling in terms of me fucking produce.
Fuck kinda Pizza Hut has a greeter???? Were you wearing a tuxedo?

Perhaps you should sell one of those yachts you have
