Yea that's not completely uncommon with trauma type shit. If a bullet hits that bitch it will shatter and they still put it back together. They will even wrap a little cage around the shattered pieces sometimes and let it all callus back together.

I thought I'd read somewhere before that broken bones naturally gravitate back together and kid's bones do so even faster/better.
You're both right. Left on its own, they'll "heal", but it might make for some painful, if functional walking afterward. I've seen the cage thing you're talking about (for spiral fractures?), though I don't know the name of it.

They do for the most part. Especially long bones. I've seen that big upper arm bone (the humerus) be fuckeddddd up on a kid with the damn thing sitting at all kinds of fucked up angles and they not even do surgery on it.

Ok, I admit it ... I'm really intrigued by the paperclip.

lol me too for real. I'm going to guess it was used to mark something externally or it was just an accident. :noidea:

Can we take a break from this?

I thought maybe it was some, "hey, let's put random objects in the picture" game xray techs play when they get bored.

See there's an example of a gunshot to a femur that shattered it. You can see in that last picture how the bone still grows back and calluses up around that spot.

perty shoddy work there on B. At least use a binder clip.

Why did Chuck Norris attack this guy with a paperclip?

They won't heal if the gap is too far between the broken pieces. They go in and reduce it if it is. The little cage i was talking about was internal and you can't see it from the outside. You are probably talking about one of those fuckers they had on Alex Smith.

Does anybody know if the Doobs, he had a penguin avy, and Clarkson, he had a robot avy, do they post here?

hopefully, they both died of covid and diabeetus complications

More likely that Doobs offed himself and Clarky got shanked by one of the stripper-whores he claimed to "date".

I am Guide Bear! I hope I don't strike out though. Dole says I have two strikes.
Are you one of those Russian circus bears that they keep docile by fucking it in the ass between performances? Cuz you look like one of those.... or so I hear.
