For what I was doing, you wanted to be the among the first ones back after the new year. Why? That's when you get to pick and choose what you wanted to work on and who you wanted working on it with you.

The new MBA hot shots would take extra days off and come back the second week. By then, nothing is left but crappy projects and 3rd string talent to work them.

After that the newbies caught on quickly.
 
Never fails...you spend a good chunk of your afternoon scraping the snow and ice off your sidewalk, then some tard comes to dig their car out and they dump all the snow back on your sidewalk

You could, but it would likely depend on what you’re trying to accomplish and how much money you make. If you’re someone who outruns the SS deduction every year, your paychecks at the beginning of the year are already lower than the ones at the end. If you’re looking to normalize that, it may make sense to backload your 401K deductions. Or you could just leave it alone.
 
I keep getting calls from some crazy bitch. She is the seller of a house I looked at. There were some broken roof tiles on the 2nd floor roof. Thos dumb bitch has called me yelling, that she needs to know where the tiles are, cuz she has people there to fix it. Like lady, if its a roofer, tell him to look at the fucking roof like I did.

Its more about this bitch wanting to call me and bitch me out, than it is about the roof. She had her idiot ex husband call me bitching about the fucked up tpr drain that he did all fucked up. Telling me the 3/8" radiator hose he rigged up was rated for cars, which he claimed run at 300 to 400 degreess, and there was no problem, even though the line needs to 3/4".

She left me a message that I was ignoring her, and demanded I call them back. Yeah, fuck you lady.

I find it hilarious that people on zoom calls have this glamour shot of themselves that they use when they turn off their video, and then when they use the video, it looks like a completely different person

Yes, i owe this crazy bitch nothing. She fucking followdd me around, turning shit off as I was doing my job. Then acted like she wasnt. I turned on the thermostat, and walked to other room, before it even turned the heat on, she shut it off. When I asked her if she did, she denied it.

I turned and the a/c, and the second the fan kicked on, she was doing the whole, shivering act, like it was so cold she could stand it. Just one of "those" people.

Home inspections here are done in the presence of the buyer's realtor usually. Is it common for the owner to be present during one of your inspections? Seems like a bad idea to me.

I use my work portrait and almost never turn the video on. Otherwise people would know how drunk I am.

Well, I'm sure it's of little to no consolation, but it could be way worse.
Based on what you've said, I shudder to think what her listing agent has been through, is going through, and will go through.

I don't have any portraits of myself on this laptop. I sometimes use my organization's logo as a picture but it only shows part of it. Kinda like the avatars on this site

Yeah, I use the one of the DoJang logos for the DoJang account, and for my own account I just leave it blank.
It shows up as a black square with my name on it.
If someone can't figure out who it is, even though my name is right there, they have bigger issues than me choosing to leave it blank.
