Getting drunk tomorrow night? I'll probably be asleep before the ball drops

Bowling was the worst ever last night... Worst score ever. We couldn't do anything right.... But at least I got some free shots out of it

Ya boy gettin lit tonight! After several weeks of a $8500+ bill hovering over my head, apparently the warranty is covering the cost of the broads transmission in her car.

house for sale on my street, just two houses down from me. Mrs Pnk is excited they're moving out. They're nice people, but always junk in their yard, they light off fireworks all summer, and other minor nuisance stuff. I tell her it could be a lot worse

We had similar with an old equinox, I'm not sure it was 8500 level, but it was expensive. Got the repair and traded it in month later

I'm either getting a new car spring of 2022 or 2023

I wish I had an unlimited budget

I received the more Christmas cards than anyone ever (81) in my neighborhood this year but somehow finished a distant 3rd for most admired bro. Frustrating.

Ive been sober most NYE. I don't really do anything or go anywhere, but have a few beers in the fridge

I probably won't even be until midngiht
 
Going over to my parents to celebrate mom's birthday. No plans for NYE/NYD. Wife works normal schedule so we will most likely be in bed by 9 or 10. Last year the step kids were here and they stayed up. I'm getting too old for that crap as I was sick on NYD from lack of sleep. The rest of the year was crap in a sense, so not doing that again.

Well with the earlier mistake I made with draining the transmission fluid a month or so back, we weren't sure if it was going to void the warranty. The mechanic who fixed it told me to take it to the dealership and don't tell them anything about the prior mistake. The guys at the dealership could tell that the fluid had been messed with, but I guess they determined that the chain that broke didn't have anything to do with it. But I don't believe in coincidences. So I think we just got lucky.

Either way. Disaster averted. Keeps the future house down payment savings intact.
