You can give the Texans prime Peyton Manning, the Bears defense from 1985, peak Barry Sanders, the Rans receiving corp from the Greatest Show on Turf and the 70s Steelers offensive line and they would still do no better than 9-7 and a first-round exit!

Just because they are the Texans.

The first time I watched them in the playoffs was the night before my 21st birthday.

I think that says everything about what being a fan of them is like

It just sucks because the owner doesn’t hold onto talent, they are in a tough division and are in a town the adores football more then anything. I do feel bad for pirate fans but then remind them (most I know) their football team has made up for that suckage in baseball since like the early 90’s.

I give ya props for being a pirate just like i give props to smitty for staying with his lions. I know and work with a bunch of Steeler fans that happen to be Phillies fans and I absolutely HATE that.
 
Oh yeah. I hated the Falcons last year when they started 4-9, and then for no reason at all, decided to finish 7-9.

I hate UGA's head coach, but still love the team though.

Yeah. No shit. I should have clarified.....the Jack slow nod was for the point of an “everything goes right” year for the Lions.

Maybe it’s being the “never won a damn thing that matters” most of my life....but the Lions have always been one I’d love to see finally win it and for their fans.

Feel that way about the Bills, Browns, Bengals and Cardinals too.

Then again....once I felt that way about the Saints, and I enjoyed it for them. And I’ve absolutely detested them since.

Yeah, I'm not sure there's a worse team to have been a fan of over the last almost 30 years other than maybe Seattle but we still got the Steelers and Penguins. A good friend of mine is a Mets and a Jets fan and I'll take the Pittsburgh trio over that. Same with another friends who is an Atlanta sports fan. It still does suck though, when the Pirates were a playoff contender that might have been one of the best parts of my sports fandom, though I'm sure seeing a team that was bad the first 20 years of my life finally being good had something to do with it.

I was only half joking about Philly being done. They aren’t.

I agree with the teams ya listed and the lions. But I wouldn’t want more then 1 for the bills or Cleveland. Their fans would get annoying REAL QUICK. Much like how you feel with the saints

Good points on fan bases.

And, depending on your exact definition of “done” the Eagles could be. I think they are in the short term for sure. A lot to fix there.

The thing with being a fan of Georgia sports teams is that generally, the teams are pretty good, they just all find new ways to choke when it matters. I'll be 30 in March, and the Braves have had a losing record in just 5 seasons of my life, and UGA currently has the longest active bowl streak in the country. Not a lot of bad years there, but no championships(I was 4 when the Braves won the WS, not near old enough to really even know what was happening), and a lot of brutal losses and chokes

It’s almost unbelievable how horrible the teams I root for are lately.

Pistons have won like 8 games in the last year. Red Wings can even win at the draft lottery. Tigers have been the worst team over the last five years. The Lions are the Lions, it’s crazy.

UNLV basketball has always been my most favorite team. Hasnt been shit for 30 years.
