In all seriousness I've got some serious concerns about this team. It's early but losing Chara has definitely hurt near the net. Teams aren't struggling to get the puck in close. And as much as we've heard about Chara losing a step, he's been putting in a lot of good minutes in DC. I'm not hitting the panic button, but I'm not feeling great. We shall see.

Umm, I assume you havent been watching the Caps...but the minutes Chara is putting in aren't the best RN...

What a day when I came home from work. Won't have the step kids for 10 days or so. Their sd had symptoms Wednesday morning while they were with us and got tested yesterday and let us know around 5 that he had tested positive. We hadn't heard anything from him since we picked them up last Friday. Tried saying he was asymptomatic, but went to get checked out due to symptoms he was experiencing. That's definitely not asymptomatic.

Also heard some very disturbing news about one of my in-laws.

Didn't do anything to me. I just think they are a tourist trap. Anything deemed "Amish made" is promised to be overpriced. They cheat on their taxes, they have more substance and sexual abuse per capita than any other population subgroup. And my favorite thing is when they allow 6 kids to pile into a buggy and the oldest who is maybe 10 is permitted to drive on a public road and then wonders why accidents happen

I haven't liked what I've seen from the Blue Jackets either. Aside from seeing some younger forwards step up. It looks like they're (aside from Bemstrom) making the advancements that we need.

Now, we just need a fucking #1C, and our supposedly good defenders to get their heads out of their asses.
