Wednesday: A Thread for Posts

Dump yesterday's coffee out, dump the filter basket out. Rinse out coffee pot. Fill with water. Put filter in basket along with desired amount of coffee.

Pour water into reservoir, put coffee pot back on burner.

You may print this out.

I'm the only person who does a few tasks in the office, and I told them they should have someone who can do those ready, cause I'll be gone, disconnected from work for a few weeks next year
Word to that. I underused my vacation time last year expecting to use some more this year (which didn't happen for obvious reasons), so they can bet their asses I'm taking some nice time off next year.

My entire company is 6 people, which for the most part I love, but this is the one big drawback. We try to make sure everyone has at least some knowledge of every kind of task, but the fact is that we all end up with our specialties. Just not a ton of backup to go around when someone is out

I have to take like 80 hours before the end of the year. Bums me out.

Hopefully there isn't anything too urgent that had to do with my actual job. The other stuff is just basically admin type stuff. I wrote an SOP for it, but the lady who will be filling in for me won't be able to do it very well. It'll probably take 2 people twice as long

Almost same. I can carry over up to 20 days to the next calendar year. Got 28 right now. Using 5 for my trip to St Jawn in early December and don't really have anything else planned right now. Guess I'll take the 4 weekdays between Christmas and New Year which will get me down to 19.

I think if I could have made the exact opposite of just one professional decision I've made over the last decade I'd be less likely to have a burning desire to murder my boss as I sit today.

I mean...the uncanny ability to choose the wrong path every time is pretty impressive.

I wish I could carry over days.

We can carry over 352.8 hours at my tier. Looks like I'll only have to spend 46 hours and my 2 flex days...

Then I'll sell 80 hours for cassssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh on Jan 1.
