I've been doing bacon in the oven. A lot less splatter and it cooks nice and even. I am a fan.

I do like pan cooked as well though...can't do bacon in a cast iron though...the pan just gets too hot and the bacon shrivels down to nothing.

my wife does bacon in the oven, but I brave the splatter and cook it in the pan.

I like doing bacon in the cast iron pan, then cooking my eggs in the bacon grease.

I have a jar of bacon fat in the fridge. I use it a lot.

when it gets low, I need to pan cook some more and replenish.
