Teams you hate & why you hate them.

Deshaun Watson was ignored by Bobo/Richt so that was a terrible eval. And, we never had a chance with Sunshine ... he was Clemson all the way, so hard to blame Smart on that one and we did get Fields instead so the eval was fine there.

After than the evals were fine ... Eason, Fromm, Fields, JT Daniels, Vandergriff and Stockton are all 5* ... it's how they developed or who played where you might have an debate. Fromm obviously was quite good and played great when Eason went down in 2017. Can't blame Smart for staying with Fromm in 2017 when he was winning the NC game in OT when he left the field. You can have fair debates about 2018 and how Fields was handled. Had he stayed around in 2019 he would have been starting by mid-2019, but it is what it is. No coach was benching Fromm for freshman Fields in 2018. Last year Smart had little choice when Newman pulled out 3 weeks before the start of the season. You start the potential of Mathis or a PWO in Bennett IV ... that's a no-win situation. He played Daniels as soon as he was physically able and that worked out alright. Three 5* on the team now or committed. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Weird hill to die on .. you'd rather your team get their ass handed to them the whole game instead of playing well to the end. You would prefer a Smart who lost badly three times instead of the one who has played them closely three times. Do you realize how totally irrational that is? You can call it choking or whatever you want to call it. I call it a new HC losing to the greatest HC in the history of CFB against a team that is on the best run ever in CFB. A loss is a loss, and I want to win. But if you feel better calling it choking and wanting to fire a coach that every team in CFB would want except maybe 3 or 4 teams, then you be you.

All I ask of any of my teams is don’t get my hopes unless you’re gonna finish the job. You don’t get to use the new coach argument in year 5.

And FTR when you blow a second half lead, you’re not playing well until the end, you’re blowing your load in the first half and then cowering in the second

LOL @ as soon as physically able. Doctors aren’t gonna clear a get that isn’t physically able to play. They cleared Daniels in week 2, and he was scrimmaging and practicing with the team before that too.

Daniels could have easily played in the Florida game. He was warming up on the sideline when Bennett got hurt, yet Kirby decided to fold away the season.

You can’t have the most talented roster on paper and wind up being the team that has to play the G5 team and not expect backlash.

its more about the conference championships and such not the uniforms. hating on oregon because of uniforms has become more trendy than Oregon's uniforms especially since they toned down and are rather ordinary now.

You simply do not know what you are talking about. Your facts are wrong, and dumb. It's wrong because he couldn't play at UF as he wasn't physically able to do so - this has been confirmed by many including JTD and his parents. It's beyond dumb because it means you think that Smart didn't play his best QB, which no coach would ever do especially Smart against UF? You are either stupid, I don't think that's true, or you want to so tightly hold onto your hate of Smart that you just make shit up and argue things that make zero sense.

“No way he could have played against Florida, but he’s still gonna warm up on the sidelines when Bennett gets hurt and was named the starter for the game scheduled for the very next week

Of course I would answer no, because no rational fan does. Unlike you who says you would rather be blown out in 3 games rather than having played them as close as you can. One of us is rational. It's not you, so of course I don't want to blow second half leads. But I don't conclude from that we should fire our coach, or whine like a little girl.

I’m off the fire Kirby train. I’m gonna see how he handles the Vandagriff-Stockton deal.

But I can handle straight up losing better than choking, and don’t confuse wanting to win and not making excuses for losing like you’re doing as whining
