Someone is missing a child. The literal least you can do is keep an eye out for the vehicle they are looking for.

I’m not inconvenienced anymore, I disabled the alerts.

You sure seem to be trying to convince the board just how much you care about children, while admitting to still doing nothing

How many alerts are you getting that you are annoyed by them?

Seems we both do nothing, yet I don’t get alerts at 3 AM anymore.

Frequency varies. Got one late Sunday night.

I dont give a fuck @fordman84 got lost driving his 1981 gold lincoln towncar in plano tx that is 4 hours away. let me know how long it will take for me to get to around the 610 loop.

I’ve never got a silver alert.

But I would have disabled the amber alerts sooner had I known how. Coworker had to show me
 
They don’t bother me, but I wonder about their effectiveness. I always get them and it’s like “look out for a silver Toyota” last seen about 100 miles away.

On the iPhone I turned off the Amber alerts but left emergency and public safety ones on. The others mainly are just a PITA when they list for the 4th day that some old guy is lost instead of letting me know I'm driving into a wreck.
 
The one I got on Sunday at least had a full license plate along with the color and make/model. So that's nice.

...it just so happened to be sent for Minneapolis...aka 3.5 hours away...

They’ve always included a color on mine, but it’s always something like “Older green Honda Accord”. Real helpful info there
