Pretty sure 3 ones are locked in. That leaves 1. I listed every team I think has any kind of shot . Who ya got ?

This is tough but I'll lean Illinois at this point. My next in line would be WVU.

I think it'll go to one of the Big 10 teams.

Nova had a chance even with a loss I think, but not if that loss was to Butler.

WVU would be it if they run the table, but that's not happening. Plus, if they beat Baylor twice, Baylor might be the one to drop off the top line. Doubtful but possible. Anyway, that's not happening.

Bama's not winning anything, and Houston doesn't have enough good opponents left.

Iowa I think should get consideration but I think the committee has OSU and Illinois ahead of them.

I think Illinois can handle another loss. OSU probably as well . Everyone else needs to win out and get help

I think the most likely scenario for the 4th 1 seed is the B10 semis and final could ostensibly be a play in game for it

A semi of OSU vs Michigan and Illinois vs Iowa . Pbviously Michigan is a 1 either way but a win by them over OSU would knock OSU out leaving the Illinois Iowa winner as the 4th 1. If OSU were to beat Michigan the B10 title game becomes the play in fir the 4th 1.

Not so sure. Baylor could very well lose a couple of more games if they don't get off the struggle bus very quickly.

I'm not sure they'd drop off the 1 even if they lose 3 more

If I'm projecting ahead I do think WVU has a great shot to get to the 1 line. I think they can beat Baylor given how Baylor has looked since coming back. Then they gett TCU and Oklahoma State at home to close. Then in the Big 12 tournament they will get 3 games, assuming they make it to the final, against Q1 teams, or high Q2 teams. There's a realistic scenario where, if they win out, they are adding 5 Q1 wins. Also given Baylor's step back in terms of play, I think it makes it more likely for someone outside of them to win the Big 13 tournament. The way Michigan is playing, I don't see them losing at this point.

Agreed. WVU has the 2nd best shot if im project ting. I give Illinois a slight edge on them as I know they can absorb 1 more loss. If I'm ranking in order of likelihood I go

Illinois
WVU
Iowa
OSU
Bama
Houston
Nova

Im 100% sure Illinois can take 1 more L and still get a 1. I'm 50/50 on WVU/OSU/Iowa as it would depend on who the loss was to and who else they bear. The other 3 need to win out and get help imo

If I put odds on I might give WVU the best odds, just based on schedule. Illinois having to play at Michigan and Ohio State this week, could very well be two more losses. After that I might give it to Iowa. Closing with Nebraska and Wisconsin is two more wins. Then a potential Iowa/Illinois matchup in the B1G semifinal. Which honestly could come down to that game.

Either way, I think Illinois/Ohio State will play themselves out of that conversation prior to the B1G tournament, then would basically need to win it to get back up there. Which is a possibility, if Michigan slips up.

I'd go WVU, then Iowa if I was putting odds on it. But more than likely, if they play in the semis the loser is out of it and the winner will have a chance depending on what WVU does.

Good point. After looking at the candidates, someone has to occupy it and there may not be one better...even if they do lose those three.

I think Illinois locked up that last 1 seed last night
Nah. Certainly got a nice jump but they're going to need to beat OSU this weekend and then make the finals of the BTT tourney to be 100% safe .

I actually think it's just about over for it too. Basically beating the 7/10 winner from the B1G will be enough. Even if they lose to OSU, then assuming they lose to Iowa in the 2/3 matchup. So essentially one more win whether it be OSU or the 7/10 winner.

Ya think? I'm not there yet especially if OSU or Iowa win out through the tourney. Clearly they've got a nice advantage though

I think just OSU would do it. Assuming they don't lay an egg in the first Big tourney game. If they lose the 1st round game, I say very likely but not a lock.

I just don't see it I guess. I think they'll end up getting it but there's too many other resume builders out there for the other B10 teams still. I think if they beat OSU the odds increase exponentially though but even then if they lose in the semis and Iowa wins the tourney I wouldn't be feeling safe as an Illinois fan

Obviously they've given themselves a nice cushion though and a win over OSU pretty much makes it a 50/50 worst case for them
