Everyone HUSH! I need to catch up on GH :tsk:

Con sarnit... The lady just told me, "you're next, but the guy giving the shots needs a break for lunch..."

How do you schedule someone to get a shot during the nurse's lunch break??? Do I have to tell everyone how to do their jobs?

Slightly better than being told you've been randomly selected for a strip search.

All righty, I'm about to go get my first Covid shot. If I don't return in 2 days, avenge my death, or something
You'll be alright. Let us know how you sleep tonight. After getting my first shot, I slept the best I had in the last 6-9 months. Not sure if related, psychological, or what.

I know it will thwart all our plans of me becoming an eye patch wearing pirate, but sadly, today I woke up with no eye pain, and minimal light sensitivity. I may have to live with two eyes. It wasnt even glued shut.

:pout:

But ... but ... you could still wear an eye patch and just pretend to be a pirate!

btw - Glad it's getting better, but fair warning, if the process of healing is at all like mine was, there will be times you rub your eye for whatever reason, hit some kind of scarring or something, and the maddening feeling will come back, and your eye will start watering uncontrollably. It will pass pretty quickly, though.

My appt. is tomorrow.
If neither of us return, perhaps we can team up in the afterlife and haunt some of these fuckers!

Oh, and, um ...

Am I gonna be the first around here to get the J&J vaccine?

Now this would REALLY be interesting, because I injured my lower back last Saturday and have not slept well all week.

But I got a cool "you've been vaccinated" card to carry around with me.

They only observed me for 15 minutes, and I thought it was supposed to be 30. So far I feel mostly fine, except for some slight soreness at the inject site and maybe a little bit of a fever -- no wait, just eating some beans and rice with habanero sauce

You lucky dog! Gettin' that Johnson...I didn't have a choice and was given the Moderna. Gotta go back in 4 weeks and do it all over again

Be sure to check the back of your head.

Which vaccine did you get? My guess is your injection site will get really sore.

Damnit! Yeah, I bet your shoulder gets really sore but you're normal otherwise. After second dose.... plan on doing nothing for about 36 hours; based on my own and others' I've spoken with experience.
