Ewing was a great player. Big East legend, NBA legend.
 
he played with that coach beater, Latrell Spreewell, for a few games
 
Spreewell and LJ were in Ewing’s older days

Hakeem yes, Shaq wasn’t during Jordan’s absence. And at that point Indiana knocked the Knicks out Before the got to Orlando.

Jordan hit the last second shot in college. Jordan dominated him in the 90s with better teams. Rockets beat him in the finals with a better team. One year when no Jordan the Knicks didn’t do well yes. Other than that 1 year his team got beat by some of the best teams of all time. Those are all facts Jack

Interesting takes on Ewing. It is interesting that a national sports writer came up with a theory of teams that perform better when a star is injured or traded away/leaves about 20-25 years ago....and he named it the Ewing theory.

I’m not dogging him at all. I’m merely laying out the facts that he didn’t win shit, and I agree most of it was because of Jordan. Hakim the one year they were in the finals but shaq had nothing to do with that. They never played Orlando in the playoffs during that time, Jack.

If James Worthy isn't out at the center circle behind the ball playing no apparent defense that kid for Georgetown doesn't throw him the fucking ball. All the Hoyas had to do was throw the ball at the rim and let Ewing get it and dunk it for the game winner.

Indeed and I believe Worthy had 30 that game. Ewing had some bad luck for sure. But MJ still hit the shot to win as usual.
 
Dan Marino didn't win anything with the Dolphins either but he damn well better be recognized at their stadium

tbh, i only made this thread b/c millionaires whining and thinking the rules don't apply to them is incredibly annoying. especially when they're lashing out at a minimum-wage employee.
