Final Friday in March Morning Thread

I don’t know why a lot of places are even bringing people back. If you are getting the same productivity, I’d save the money of the physical space and cut the space to a level where people can rotate in and out as necessary. Especially for large employers.
The Mrs' place of business is looking at doing that. They own a fairly large building in downtown Cleveland and sent the majority of people home last spring to work. They are seeing that it's working and the space isn't necessary. Not sure how many are in the market for a large office building right now though

Seems like we're a month or two early in easing restrictions.

Gov lifted the mask mandate two weeks ago, the hardware store I visited had no one wearing masks. Nothing had changed at the eye doctor, they still took my temp coming in, masks required.

I'm hoping I can swing mostly remote at this point.

This is what my last supervisor was telling me behind the scenes too.

Of course SLT has already put the money in the building, so...

I just got done reading a book that had a little thing about the polio outbreak and how similar it is to what we are seeing with COVID.

and the last cases of polio were in the Amish community.

that's shitty to shame him like that.
I thought it was really strange, too. It was in the really early days...must have felt like he had leprosy.

Not surprised. They are anti vaccine

Nightcrawlers all over the place last night. Heavy rain and I guess the ground temps are up. High near 70 tomorrow. That yard ain't gonna clean itself up.

I think I would stop going there if they had a wanted sign up of me.

120?!

Damn!

that's a pandemic in itself!

None of the schools around here, private or public, had had anywhere near that level of outbreak.

There's so much we don't get about this thing.

I have been reading a lot about the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic. There are so many parallels

Indiana and Kentucky are lifting requirements. I'm guessing we will before Pennsylvania or michigan. We're still a ways off, though

Driving home yesterday I was shocked at how green the grass has become

He doesn't hold any ill will that I could see, plus he's a golf slut.
