I also have a son...but he's the youngest. It's too bad to because he's 6'4" and training for MMA. We could have really had some fun.

Yeah, he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and loves MMA. His trainer has had a couple of UFC fights. One to get a contract and 1 since he's been under contract.

That's good question...I have seen the belt and it is black and I paid for the lessons.

But you never know. Might have been one of them "black belt mill" scams that you hear about all the time. :nod:

He seems to have lots of thoughts about DoJangs, and Dan ranks, and martial arts training.

Aw, baby girl!

Calliope doesn't mind rain, not even heavy rain, but she doesn't like thunderstorms.
I've always wondered if it isn't because when she was young, we had the most intense thunderstorm I ever experienced out here, which included a tree getting struck by lightning less than a mile away. My doggie was beyond petrified. A clap of thunder woke me up, I went to go check on the dog, and I couldn't get through the door because she had plastered herself against it on the other side. I ended up keeping her in bed with me, under the covers, holding her as she shook. Mind you, I'm talking about a 60ish pound pit bull. Anyway, Calliope adored the dog, and I think the dog was so afraid, she became afraid.
