That's definitely something I miss about my last boo...we had the timing down pat for getting ready on vacation (actually, at home, too)! It was like a fucking perfectly executed symphony of efficiency and synchronization! With one bathroom!

I learned a long time ago to read the most recent emails first. The squabbles and bullshit that builds up while you are away tends to resolve itself by the time you get back so no action is necessary.
 
Oh, jesus christo on a tortilla. I just remembered that the only gmail emails I opened were the covid related shit from the bahamas tourist whatevers.

I sort my emails by subject. that way all the bullshit is together

That’s both one of the things I like most as well as one of the most annoying parts of Office 365. They lump all of the emails on a subject together so you’re always seeing the most recent one, but it’s sometimes hard to figure out the backstory or find/respond to an email that’s in the middle of the chain if you want.

We had Lotus Notes. Similar in many ways.

When I'm on vacation, anyone who is not family or a friend is shit out of luck.
I log out of any account having anything to do with any work, and I don't log back in until my vacation is over.

Fun fact, that is where I got one of my only 3 tickets in my life. I used to live just up the street from that shell station and was leaving for class one morning. As I entered the intersection to turn left a biker fired out into the intersection and I slowed to not hit him. During that time the light turned yellow and then red. A popo lit me up and gave me a fucking ticket for running a red light. No amount of "should I have just run that prick over" was getting me any leeway.

So fuck bikers at that intersection. It is right next to Northgate.

For the record, I've actually never tried an impossible burger, and while I do appreciate your consideration, please, find a way to smack me right upside the fuckin' head if I ever take offense at a cheeseburger, whether in real life or as a rating.

Fuck bike riders in general. I sort of miss my diesel company truck so I could cover them in a cloud of black smoke. Never see em on roads with bike lanes, but they sure like to ride the main highways and busy roads right when everyone is coming home from work, I keep hoping a chicken truck will run up on a group to thin the numbers
