roadtripping with gob would be a very all over the place trip, it seems.

He said he "mapped out his drive". I thought maybe his mapped drive included something other than google mapping directions "to Maine from ill's house".

Also, to be honest, I didn't really examine the map all that much to see that there isn't a "scenic route" that could take him up that direction.
