Rank the living generations

millennial workers are spot on equivalent of union workers.

"ok, I've stayed employed for 6 months...where is my raise and promotion". Told a kid yesterday to pound sand when he tried to hold a "I have two offers in hand, give me a raise or I walk" over me. As of tomorrow at 5pm he is someone else's problem :beer2:
TIL fordman doesn't pay a livable wage

I have. Grandfather used to have one. His manual shift riding mower was also an adventure for a kid trying to make a few bucks mowing yards.
The mower we had as a kid was a manual shift Snapper. You could ride wheelies on that thing.

First time I ever used a zero turn mower, I was 14, my grandpa let me use it to cut one of his neighbor’s yard for some money, I cut down a recently planted Japanese maple that supposedly cost 500 dollars. Was not a profitable day

one of the early times riding that thing I popped a wheelie and fell off the back, but luckily there was enough yard to chase it down and jump back on. No seat cutoff switch on that old thing.

I think ours originally had a cutoff switch on the seat but my dad disabled it. But I can still hear him yelling “stop fucking around and cut the god damn grass.” When I figured out how to make it pop a wheelie and then how to ride it out, it took a lot longer than it should to get the grass cut

You ain't driven an old Ford tractor without powersteering.
My dad has an old 9N. Like my first truck, it steers great when rolling. Not so much at a standstill.

I wish I made what this 26 year old makes when I was 26.

This kid used a skip level to bring this to me. I love the fortitude it takes to pull this, but nah I'm not gonna deal with this. Gets his walking papers tomorrow.

@Illustrious Potentate

How in the holy fuck can you put Gen Z ahead of X? What's yer beef with X? We are fucking awesome.

My parents property when I was a kid was 5 acres and we had a Craftsman riding lawnmower. We had a little hill at one spot in the property and my brother decided to take the mower up the side of the hill and ended up rolling it. The two of us together couldn’t roll it back onto its wheels and had to try to stealthily call in our older cousins from across town to help without telling our parents. We were unsuccessful.

Fortunately, my punishment was limited to my role in the attempted coverup. My brother fared far worse.

They’re past their prime and turning into boomers bitching about the younger generations despite not being much older than millennials
Every older generation bitches about the younger. Always have. That is not exclusive to anyone.

Stop fucking up and maybe they'll stop bitching.
I haven’t been bitched at at work in years. Might be because my boss is a fellow millennial and some of my subordinates are Gen Xers.

I don’t hear the silent generation bitching about boomers, even though nobody would blame them if they did

The crabapples in the backyard had the effect of marbles, they’d put you in the woods, but I never flipped a mower
