Getting Ready for A Motherfucking Storm

Forecast says winds up to 100 MPH and 3 Inches of rain and hail the size of small dogs.

EAA is going on right now. I hope those fuckers in campers aren't fucked.

I have the candles and Bible out. Beer for me.

I thought you were a non-believer??

My wife and I were playing Fallout 76 last night before the storms hit. Our gaming buddy in Wausau joined us. ...very briefly... He got blasted by crazy winds and hail a moment after he signed on. Then a minute after that the tornado sirens went off. I could hear his hysterical wife through his mic screaming at everyone to 'get in the basement now!!!' (It was actually rather comical.) I reminded him to turn his Playstation off before he dies.

The storm cell that raped Wausau ended up tracking towards Omro, Ripon and Berlin - more south than southeast (about 10 miles west of Oshkosh). That gave me the confidence to go to bed as the storms approached. Bountiful thunder and lightning kept my sleep light and choppy, but no hail, no severe damaging winds, no tornadoes. I found there weren't even any downed branches in my neighborhood - so I escaped in relatively great shape.

How about you, @PackJason?

Exact same. I live in South O-Town and the storm basically parted like the Red Sea around my whole area.

Awesome lightning show, no hail, light rain, light wind. I read Wausau got pummeled.

One of my co-workers who lives in the Omro area told me this morning that the biggest oak tree on his property got knocked over and landed on his driveway. He woke up at 5am this morning to chop enough of it up to get to work this morning.

We got lucky.

Yep, the way it was looking had me fearing for the worst. But when it looked like we were in the clear, I played Destiny 2 for about 3 hours just to stay awake and be sure.

I played the original Destiny with my wife for quite a while, but it got old and repetitive after we completed the main story. I take it Destiny 2 is pretty solid?

There is a LOT of content, but it's pretty expensive to buy all of the expansions/DLC. I bought them all off Humble Bundle at 70% off a few weeks ago. That only ran me $30.

I think the base game is free to play on Steam. Worth checking out.
