Texas nor Dallas is a network provider. So it isn’t.

Yes, by definition every expansion brings in more revenue for the conference. But adding “Dallas” won’t budge DirectTv on the not including the Pac12 networks which means no new market the conference adds would add the entire market let alone a market where the 5th or 6th most popular team is on…otherwise SMU would have a lot more value to add than TCU because SMU is a better overall athletics program. The revenue bump the conference would receive wouldn’t be worth it because it has to get divided 12 times and TCU won’t bring that much to the table. Contracts are build around television negotiation rights but you have to have to negotiate with network providers and the Pac12 does not have a deal with one of the countries largest and outside of Notre Dame there isn’t a school that the Pac12 could come to the bargaining table with to get them on board.

Thank you for explaining it to Simple Jack.

Of course I don't want them in my conference. I want Oregon to get as much money as possible.

Cmon, Simple Jack...you can do better than this, can't you?

Even if more money could be earned by this?

Still can’t admit you are wrong lol.

Couldn’t the PAC negotiate with the large network provider in the DFW area?

You had no idea of this. Do not act like you did.
I explained right from the getgo that adding more teams would dilute the PAC-12 per team revenue.

Furthermore, while you were confusing Tier 1 and Tier 3 rights like only Simple Jack can, I explained why the PAC-12 Network wasn't going to be added in Texas.

LOL if you think TCU carries the DFW market. But I get it.. have schools play there from the PAC for recruiting purposes.. but I think there are more Tech Alumni in that area than TCU ones tbh
Oklahoma carriers the DFW market. I've lived here for 14 years now. Granted Texas has sucked balls for 11 of those years but OU has a dominate fan presence here.

No you didn’t, stupid. And you would have mentioned a while ago that the PAC CANT negotiate in Texas. But you didn’t because ya didn’t know.

For sure. TCU is probably in 4th behind UT, OU, and aTm.

The PAC-12 hasn't been successful in getting the network added on the West Coast, where they have the dominant sports teams. You think they are going to be successful at getting providers/subscribers for second/third-tier teams in Texas?
You seem to still not understand.

The PAC was unable to get providers to put the PAC network on for every one of their customers ON THE WEST COAST.

Now you think they will magically be able to do it in Texas.

This was back in post 2,036, which you glossed over when you were still learning the difference between Tier 1/3.

Simple Jack stubbed his toe yet again.

I've never been outnumber in any bar during OU GameDay from as far north as Van Alstyne Country bars to deep elm across to stock yards. This is OU territory for sure. A&M second. Texas fans have been hiding out for the last decade of suckage.

You are dead wrong. Wazzu fan is saying the PAC CANT negotiate in Texas because they have no provider relationships. You never mentioned anything like that.
