No way Illinois keeps it within 7 vs. Nebraska this Saturday, just no way/Scores Only Dunces

This is BS. Illinois offense at least looks decent with the RB and back up QB. Both defenses look pretty good. Frost can’t find QBs or what?

Our "QB whisperer" must not be whispering the right thing, its all form and technique for the most part (yes there have been a couple mental errors namely the fumble at the end that could have been avoided too)`

The thing is that it is really easy to come on here and troll a team that is down when your team hasn't even played yet. There is also an entire second half. Nebraska has made some mistakes but they do look like the most talented team on the field. I haven't been a fan of Scott Frost's coaching, though. It is making me nervous because the American coaches seem to be crashing and burning. Guess who just hired an American Coach this offseason?

Ha yea it would be easier to troll nebraskak if this was something new, he thinks he is getting under our skin as if this was 2002 and adversity was new.

To be fair i have no faith in Josh Heupel not to be a dig on yall just i dont think he has it.

I have been in wait and see mode since we hired frost and it is admittedly getting more difficult to wait and see but at the same time who the fuck else are we going to get? Think for better or worse we have to ride this ride for a couple more years

I feel the pain... Scott Frost sounded like a GREAT hire on paper but it just hasn't panned out.

Tennessee really hasn't even had a GREAT hire yet, IMO. Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt came off as compromises. Derek Dooley was a head scratcher. Josh Heupel sounds like the best we could get at the time. I will say this, Heupel has handed the off-season better than any of these other coaches. That is one positive. I really like the use of transfer players to replace a lot of the losses in the offseasons. I feel like we have at least patched together a competitive team that could go 6-6 despite all of the offseason drama.

Still, I do think he has a ceiling and I am thinking things will break down in season 3-4 for him. I hope that I am wrong.

ill be interested to see if im right about him i dont care either way cuz not my team he just struck me as the guy who has been in the right place at the right time kinda falling into the past 3 positions he has coahed in.

Frost on paper looked stellar, perfect, cant miss. In practice i am not sure he is the GM type head coach you have to be(especially in the age of the transfer portal) and managing all the coaches and game plan properly
 
Looks like the board is in mid season form with its predictions.
