Highschool football..

which one? St Xavier and Colerain are both in Cincy, not to mention schools like Winton Woods, Elder, etc.

Hell, I'd forgotten Bishop Sycamore even had a football team, I'm pretty sure they're a relatively new charter school in the area.
Nah, it is a private school that started with an M. St. Mueller or Father Mullen or something like that. It used to send a lot of kids to D1 schools...long before high profile recruiting services. I know, I know....I'm aging myself.

We seriously going to pretend IMG wasn’t created to recruit kids nationally to play sports? They are supposed to win. They aren’t even allowed to compete for state titles.

@Thiefery might find it interesting that Jenks(Tulsa) beat top 10 Texas Mansfield Summit 20-14 this weekend.
Have no clue why they are ranked that high.. they got killed everytime they faced someone decent last season.
#1 ranked in Texas, Duncanville got absolutely embarrassed by Raleek Brown and Mater Dei as well. 45-3
Mater Dei recruits players like a college.. nothing like Duncanville does. It would have been much more interesting to see how Westlake or even an Ewers-less Southlake Carroll team would have looked vs Mater Dei.. But I would still take Mater Dei.. they are a factory like IMG

I guess we are going the women's gymnastics route with all sports. (Karoly's ranch turned out good gymnast but........)

I loathe places like IMG. Identify kids at an early age and ship them off to places designed just for their talent. I'm not sure since I never had to make the decision, but I don't think I would give up the years of 8-18 with my daughters. But, again, I never had one THAT interested in such or THAT good.

Yeah they’re basically a minor league. And not just football. All their sports, even Olympic sports are basically a minor league.

But don’t kid yourself. Aquinas has been doing that forever too. They get kids on scholarship just to win titles.

Bishop Gorman too.

Lived right up the street from STA as a teenager.

Really dug a lot of those hot Catholic school girls. Sadly, they didn't dig me. :D

My gf was sponsored by IMG for a bit. She went to boarding schools most of her childhood, though.

Always have assumed it’s kids with a messed up family life.

Like rich tennis kids and poor immigrants.

Not sure when exactly... Know at one time she was one of the best in the(her) country. She kind of burned out a little, though, and took a break. Stuck with it because she could get over here because of it
Assume it was worth it then? Lol
