OSU can't throw the ball down the field. Makes defending an offense much easier if the QB can't complete a ball downfield. Take away the one big run by OSU and Minnesota has been the better team.
 
Ohio State putting a freshman QB on the road to Minnesota and a zany madman head coach like PJ Fleck for his first collegiate start seems less than ideal right about now.

Why didn’t Minnesota just try a Hail Mary? Why didn’t Ohio state call a timeout to prevent them from doing so?
