@huskers1217 rm has a cousin who's girls are in boy scouts in virginia....they love it. beast has done a couple years of girl scouts and they dont really do any cool stuff like camp, fires, or sharp tools. considering i already got her playing baseball and flag football the rm would pitch a fit for pushing her into boy scouts too. but no way i would hand her over to strangers for a weekend trip with horny boys.

Last February, we did a camp overnight at a flight museum here in houston. lights out were around 10pm and i was walking around some looking at the old WWII planes because i thought it was the coolest thing. there was like 10-15 kids running around without shirts on. not sure adding girls to that is a good idea.

I think it all depends on the local council. I know all our area GS troops go camping and stuff, both tent and cabin, and even in caves.

so dumb the way it is set up...strictly by school grade. so the year before us has some great leaders but beasts grade is always scrapping for help and will more than likely fold after this year is done. when i was a scout we had all ages in our troop.
