put a brace on it, go to a doctor....let it heal.

cast and crutches isn't for a torn ligament...but you might get a boot

haven't had a flare up in forever. whenever i feel like something might be feeling a bit stiff or some pain might be coming on I take some indomethacin and it's all good.
