Not to say it's an impossible job, just a very tough one given the current climate and the demand for immediate results.

umm yeah that's why there is another coaching change? And they didn't even have to break the bank to pay Sark either.. guess it wasn't as terrible as you think?

That’s like asking why did 5 star recruits start choosing Clemson and Alabama over other blue blood schools. It may be a bad job right now but you can’t pretend Alabama was a great job when Saban took over.

and if you are a coach worth any salt, you should be able to flip the state in your favor at UT. Strong brought in some good classes despite being on the wrong end on embarrassing blow outs. Herman had the same despite always playing to his competition's level ( although his biggest margin of a loss was 17 to tcu)
