Yet, in the last decade, UT has managed to lose less than 3 games in a season just once...this past year. The (t)expectations for the program are to win or challenge for the conference title & playoffs every year. They've come nowhere close to that level.

Further, they have had just 2 first round draft picks (and only 2 second rounders) taken by the NFL in the last decade.
So, despite all the advantages in the world, your program isn't winning and isn't pumping out NFL talent. Tell me again why the flood of 5-star recruits will suddenly want to go to UT rather than Bama, Clemson, Ohio St or even in your own back yard A&M & OU?
It's a terrible job right now because your expectations and reality are nearly polar opposites.
Not to say it's an impossible job, just a very tough one given the current climate and the demand for immediate results.
