he was supposed to generational player. i dont think he is. hes not a griffey, or trout. guys who came up young and took over the game. to me hes always scratched that "soooo close" area.

I agree with that. Not a Nats fan but I do follow them, before that big contract he had like 2 great seasons. Great player for sure but not HOF (for now) and not worth that contract.
