Bama is going to need to lose twice to be out of the playoff and theyve already beat the only 2 teams on their schedule who couodve beaten them before the SEC title game

I’m not completely sure about that.
undefeated OU gets in over Bama. Heck, one loss b12 champ Texas who lost early and beats OU twice would probably get in over Bama who loses their last game and would cause a potential or immediate CFP rematch.
And then an undefeated cinci who is currently enjoying a high rank?
i could totally see Bama being left out.

I can tell you from experience that if the committee can put them in then they will. Since the BCS days Alabama has always been given the benefit of the doubt. It’s just something we have to accept. They will need two loses.

@Thiefery the above is exactly the kind of crazy talk I've been alluding to. Texas fans have no room to criticize anyone when it comes to crazy comments and expectations.

So Bama gets blown out in the CCG, Texas handles OU twice and is a one loss p5 champ, and it’s ‘crazy’ that Texas would get selected over Bama?

I think you’ve just pointed out the actual ‘crazy’ in this scenario: The SEC hind-licking that’s been going on since 2010.

I don't want to be in the playoff. I want to beat Ohio State.

If there’s any case at all for Bama to be in, they’re gonna be in. I don’t agree with it(I don’t agree with a committee picking the playoff teams, but that’s another discussion), but that’s the way it is
 
Anything less than a natty for UGA will be a disappointing season. So it’s probably gonna be a disappointing season. This is Kirby’s best team and the best team he will have for a couple seasons

1. You never said a work about Bama getting blown out as that could potentially change things but I can't remember the last time Saban got blown out so it's been a long time. If that is what it is going to take to get you in the playoff then forget it.

2. You are assuming that Oklahoma has the kind of clout to get you in the playoff but I'm telling you this year they do not. If you beat OU they will drop in the polls and if you beat them again they will drop even further and it actually ends up hurting you (see Auburn vs Tenn 2004). The truth is Oklahoma has a terrible schedule and they haven't looked great playing the crappy teams they do have.

3. I stand by my crazy talk comments because what you are proposing is based on what you want and not what is reality.

Only time Saban has been blown out while at Bama was by Clemson in the 2018 NCG

Even in 2007, all the losses were close

That was 2007. 2006 there was serious talk of an OSU-Michigan rematch in the NCG. Then both OSU and Michigan lost badly in their bowls to Florida and USC respectively

A. This thread is a wish list.
B. You brought up “crazy,” not me. So, the burden of proof isn’t on me. But… It’s not crazy to think Texas handles OU twice nor that Bama loses to UGA by 17+. In that case. I can see a p5 champ Texas getting selected over Bama.
