Look up a book called "Wisconsin Death Trip" Serial craziness is not a new thing. Hell, just look at the 60s and 70sSure people have always done stupid shit. And people will always continue to do stupid shit. Its in our nature. I just think the fringe is growing at a faster rate than population growth, and much to do with social media.
Also agree that many of the ramifications are political and where it seems the majority of crazies gravitate to for whatever reason. Which is why i wasn't trying to go into too much detail here.
Goddamn Facebook let Jim Jones keep the People's Temple Facebook page up even after they all drank the Kool-Aid.Crazy, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
Drinking the Kool-Aid is still a thing. Thanks, ZuckGoddamn Facebook let Jim Jones keep the People's Temple Facebook page up even after they all drank the Kool-Aid.
I don't think anyone is saying its a new thing. My argument is just that its more prevalent now. Had to do look it up, and Wisconsin Death Trip has a pretty interesting story behind it. But now with social media, its like getting a Wisconsin Death Trip type of event every day.Look up a book called "Wisconsin Death Trip" Serial craziness is not a new thing. The thing is that more people are being exposed to the crazies and feel like their opinion means something.
