snap into a Tuesday

Several times a week I get to hear about how the teacher took the football away at recess again. When I ask why I hear “she thinks we’re arguing when we yell out audibles and tell so and so where to line up.”

So the overpaid dummy teacher can’t figure out school yard football among a few kids - gives up and takes the ball away - but the coaches seem to handle 20 of them at a time no problem.

Funny, really. And a great example to kids why so many (not all) teachers are useless, and can’t really teach shit.
She should be taking video of the schoolyard football games to share with the coaches.

ugh...and the weekly sales meeting begins . . .

That would require motivation, the understanding of team sports and actually caring about the kids and her job.

Not happening.

i agree. I gave it up a few years ago as well. I’m back to just enjoying the games.

When I was really into it it was almost like having another job, and absolutely like I was carrying around another responsibility.

At my peak I was watching the waiver wire (real and fantasy) 24/7. If something happened it was a race to put in your claim or straight up grab the guy depending on the situation. That was the only way to win and stay competitive.

As I got older, gained more real-life responsibilities, FF became a burden. I dreaded having to remember to set my line up. The passion was gone. Wasn’t fun anymore. But 10 years is a good run for just about anything. No regrets leaving that rat race behind.

You like throwing your money away on silly shit and never really try at anything you do.

I get it.

Got Coal to daycare and as he was taking his shoes off he proceeded to puke up his breakfast. And since Mr. Kobe left for a hunting trip this morning, that means my in-person meetings are cancelled. Now I’m just here hoping he doesn’t puke on me because he’s insisting on basically being attached to my side.
