I got it.Cool, but you missed the joke.
it's just a game, Focker
I didn’t think using him as my drug mule would cause him to get sick.
It caused too much of an existential conflict between my competitive and lazy sides. I really, really wanted to win; just not enough to put in all of the work required to do so.Nothing fun about being out of contention only a few weeks in but every year there are a few guys sitting at 1-3 after the first month and they just give up. Not for me.

Now that you've decided it's ok you should try it some time.My last couple of years playing in a nut shell. Nothing wrong with being self-aware.
Several times a week I get to hear about how the teacher took the football away at recess again. When I ask why I hear “she thinks we’re arguing when we yell out audibles and tell so and so where to line up.”
So the overpaid dummy teacher can’t figure out school yard football among a few kids - gives up and takes the ball away - but the coaches seem to handle 20 of them at a time no problem.
Funny, really. And a great example to kids why so many (not all) teachers are useless, and can’t really teach shit.
no, i got it, i just chose to ignore itCool, but you missed the joke.
Obvious you haven't been following this never ending saga.your kid and his friends are playing recess football where they're actually "calling audibles" at the line of scrimmage?? wow!

When I was really into it it was almost like having another job, and absolutely like I was carrying around another responsibility.
At my peak I was watching the waiver wire (real and fantasy) 24/7. If something happened it was a race to put in your claim or straight up grab the guy depending on the situation. That was the only way to win and stay competitive.
As I got older, gained more real-life responsibilities, FF became a burden. I dreaded having to remember to set my line up. The passion was gone. Wasn’t fun anymore. But 10 years is a good run for just about anything. No regrets leaving that rat race behind.
it forces me to pay attention to more than just my team, which was pretty great because I get to learn about other players and whatnot...but again I have never stressed out about it.It caused too much of an existential conflict between my competitive and lazy sides. I really, really wanted to win; just not enough to put in all of the work required to do so.
