Alex Anthoupolos put together the greatest Trade Deadline in American Sports history IMO.

I dont think I can ever criticize him again.

Got Joc Pederson(who would’ve won NLDS MVP if it existed)

Eddie Rosario(NLCS MVP)

Jorge Soler(WS MVP)

Adam Duvall( Multiple Postseason HRs)

AMAZING

All for None of our Major Prospects

Didn’t add much salary, didn’t lose any top prospects and all 4 had major contributions.

Only real blemish is trading Bryse Wilson for Richard Rodriguez. Rich Rod kinda sucked and I still think Wilson has potential

If there’s a better one, I can’t remember it. Every lever they pulled paid off completely.

At the time I was happy to get Joc because it was in early July and there was enough time before the deadline to flip him if we decided to sell.

Was happy to get Duvall back because he killed us as a Marlin and he never should have been let go to begin with.

I wrote off Soler and Rosario as throw away deals. Didn’t expect anything out of either. Boy was I wrong

I would like to bring Soler and Rosario back if we could.

An OF of Rosario, Acuna, Soler would make me very happy

Would be nice. Think we should trade either Waters or Pache for a starting pitcher. What we did this year was phenomenal, but very unlikely to happen again with so little depth at starting pitcher

yeah, the guys in our pen that we already had just got their shit together

Rodriguez was passable, but certainly not a guy that you give up Bryse Wilson for

I understand it. Pen was struggling at the time outside of Matzek and Jackson and Rich Rod was having a really good season with the Pirates, but him being a one pitch guy, his shelf life wasn’t gonna be long.

Wilson has good stuff and if he can ever figure it out, he can be a quality starter. We’ve seen flashes.

The question is What happens with Ozuna. I somewhat think we bring him back.(Don’t want too) but him and Soler are basically the same player IMO.

While those trades turned out to be absolutely brilliant, I think what had more to do with the championship is the baseball Gods tipping their cap to the Braves for not being huge pussies and changing their name.

Congrats on all accounts, Braves fans.

Soler wasn’t near the defensive liability Ozuna was, and we’re more than likely gonna have a DH. I’m holding out hope that Ozuna never sees the field in a Braves uniform again, but he probably will. Nobody will trade for him and he’s owed too much money to just cut bait

Long time coming. Thanks Bud. Hope the name stays, but I feel it’s on borrowed time.

An lineup of

LF: Rosario
CF: Acuna
RF: Soler
DH: Ozuna
3B: Riley
SS: Dansby
2B: Ozzie
1B: Freddie
C: Travis

That would Fuck pretty hard ngl

Priority number one is to pay Freddie Freeman. You know the profits were high this year
Freddie and Rosario should be Priorities 1 and 2 IMO.

d’Arnaud should be number 3. He calls a really good game. And is not an automatic out at the plate

D'Arnaud is here through 2024

I am glad to no longer have to see Wilson in a Braves uniform. He had plenty of chances. Let him become decent some place else.
