I’ve been buying Maxwell House of late. Pretty good stuff, way better than the burned tasting Starbucks gross shit. Seriously why does all Starbucks taste like ashes?

I learned this one due to my job, both what my company does, and their own choice to stock the office with “Starbucks” brand institutional coffee, which is utter swill.

For a company that is very brand conscious they really have not paid attention to who they are licensing production of Starbucks brand coffee, both at the institutional and retail levels. The companies licensed to produce coffee with their name on it have been allowed to get away with highway robbery.

The coffee is garbage. I can buy a bag of Dunkin coffee and actually feel like I have something close to what I can get at Dunkin.

Not at all. I get it at least once or twice a week in lieu of what I already brewed at home.

Also, I don’t get anything from McDonalds anymore. But I will still go for their coffee (ok, occasionally an egg McMuffin too). I’ve always actually liked McDonalds coffee. That might be a hot take.

With five teens their is at least once a week they ask if we can get Starbucks. I’m always asked if I want something. No thanks.
