Fun fact. In 1991 Colorado and the jackets split the NC. Nebraska lost to them both. I think Nebraska had like a 3 year streak where they lost to the natty winner back then

That was 1990.

Colorado was probably the better team, they definitely played a tougher schedule, but they got the 5th down. If Tech fans actually existed they should shut down any talks of Colorado having any claim, but would have been a non issue had Boomers been smart enough to have a real NCG before 1998.

Absolutely not. I have no idea why anyone that isn't a fan of either team would watch this game. Pretty much, if I'm not talking to myself come game time, something has gone horribly wrong.

You are correct. That was back then when Nebraska played after thanksgiving. It’s hard to remember that far back anymore

According to the Nebraska players after the game, Tech was a much more difficult opponent.
