I use the gas grill when I'm crunched for time and the charcoal grill when I'm not. Charcoal is so much better. My dad only uses a gas grill.

Eh, while I'd rather pan sear than gas grill, it's too smoky of you don't have great ventilation.

Gas grill is good for quick grilling.
