I don't like him, but he's still a huge hire. He made a NCG, then things went south and he completely rebuilt his coaching staff and has turned ND back into a top 10 program in the country and has made the playoffs twice, and they gave Clemson a better game than Bama did the first time around.

oh how we forget the cycle of coaches ND went through before BK.. he's an easy punching bag but the reality is, ND is a tough place to win at. They have expectations like all the big boys do.. however the program has one hand tied behind it's back in recruiting.
UT and BK were talking a year ago, but the head BOR fell in love with Sark during the interview and didn't go further with BK. I believe BK knows he has done all he can do at ND, and knows there's a better chance at LSU to get a title.
Terrific hire for LSU.. Recruiting in Texas is going to be that much tougher with this hire..
