God damn bike and scooter people. If they ride on the sidewalk it's dangerous (and illegal) and if they ride on the street it can be a hassle to get around them. People laugh at bike lanes but there's a clear difference around here in stretches that have them vs. those that don't. And that doesn't even get into that ones who think because they're on a bike they can run stop signs/red lights.

The only reason I ever have a problem with bike lanes is when people on bikes don't fucking use them.
Hey, assholes, there's a bike lane right fucking there, specifically for you.
Get in it, or don't get all pissy if someone in a car is ... less than polite to you.

DC is underratedly bad. Thankfully they put in those EZ Pass express lanes, but once you get past that it's rough. Actually most of Virginia between DC and Norfolk is. Last time I did I joked the real reason it took the Union army so long to get from Washington to Richmond was the traffic between them.

Beltway traffic has been a nightmare since, well, at least the early 90's, which is when I was in the DMV area a lot.

Just got an email that I was never informed about my Q3 bonus memo, which states it'll be added to a paycheck from late October.

uh...thanks?

I have videos on my phone I shot where I was ranting about all the lane closures for no reason. I was screaming, crying, shouting vulgar, abusive language and punching the steering wheel in one.

I've decided not to share those with anyone.

i lived in Hampton Roads in my early 20s and tbh, Virginia doesn't get enough credit for being such a forgettable state. Richmond seems okay, but there really isn't anything there between DC and Hampton Roads.

Also traveling from North Carolina to Hampton Roads is a major pain in the ass. The moment you leave Raleigh/Durham, you're traveling on backroads in the middle of nowhere for hours until you hit Suffolk.

I really liked living in Norfolk. Nice downtown area and Virginia Beach is right there. It is a such that it was just too far from home for me to continue living there.

Isn't Arizona the cleanest?! Big, wide, clean, smooth roads! If only it wasn't hotter than the devil's taint, i would consider moving.
They're gonna run out of water too... so what then?

They don't need water on the roads. Just bust open some of them cacti - don't they have water in them, like camels?

Houston is it’s own special ring of hell.

But if you want ungodly traffic, go international and head to Manila.
Might as well just go to Asia... Drivers over there are ALL freakin' CRAZY!! :scared:

That's why I would NEVER drive while over there. Take the taxis, get in and close my eyes and VOILA!!! I make it to where I wanted to go, unscathed! :heh:

My wife is from the Philippines, so we go there fairly often. I wouldn’t even consider driving there. We have a guy we hire to drive us wherever we want. It’s still really cheap and I don’t have to worry about killing my whole family.

I was just in Flagstaff for one night. It was 25F there. Completely different environment than Phoenix, of course. To me it felt like Colorado.

Flagstaff elevation makes it a much cooler place. I actually really like it there.
Yeah it is. Unfortunately houses aren't cheap there. Probably only gotten worse since I last did some research.
