That's the upside. The downside is -5. You've been warned.

it got down to 15 here last year. and we had no power for 3 days during it.

i laid my fridge items on the picnic table out back so things wouldn't spoil. I grilled hot dogs and baked beans for 2 days because i couldn't use my stove......

Have you made any adjustments since then? Buy a generator?

If @moxie didn't get her time card in yet, she's SOL for Christmas pay.
I had a mini panic attack about it yesterday and couldn't remember if last friday was payday or timecard day. Luckily, it was payday and this friday is goddamn timecard day. One more for the year!

Set a reminder while you are thinking about it.

If I have a wood something and the screws that hold the hook have fallen out, I can use whatever glue I have on hand to make them stay in their holes, right? I don't need WOOD glue, do i?

Sometimes you can break off little pieces od tooth picks in the holes, and then screw them back in.

Stick a tooth pick in the hole as far as it will go, and snap it off. Then do it again, and maybe even 3 times. Then put the screw back in.

This works for all kind of stripped wood screws. Door hinges, etc.
