A friend just brought me some real licorice from Copenhagen. It's nothing like what we can licorice. It was awful. I go to Sprout's when I'm in the US and buy pounds of those licorice drops.

Was that shit salty?

Had some in the Netherlands that made me gag.

It's weird, cuz I like fennel in certain recipes, but black licorice is just gross to me. My mother loves the shit.
