Back in the 70s, there was a rule that you couldn't be married and be on the football team at Auburn. Well, there was a big fad around that time where students were eloping and there were quite a few of the players that did it also but were hiding it and everyone was paranoid the coaches would find out. Then Pat Sullivan eloped and everyone got relaxed because the rule changed the next week.

Several of those couples were parents of my friends growing up and it was fun to hear them talk about but you could tell at the time they were really concerned they would get into trouble.
 
just a heads up, if you win the national title this year due to Covid forfeits, 2018 UCF is a more legit national champ then you.
