sounding like it could be Rutgers
sounding like it could be Rutgers
it’s becoming a tradition to see SEC schools run away from the ACC
Thing I read said they had 39 players available, 20 of which are offensive or defensive linemen
Gator Bowl has a history of trying to push their weight around with the ACC and basically told the ACC that we don't care about your standings, we will always invite a 6-6 Clemson or FSU over a 10-2 Boston College. This caused the ACC to write a written rule that forced bowls like the Gator Bowl to follow standings to a certain extent (they had to take a team that finished 6-2 over a team that finished 4-4. If there was only a game difference like 6-2/5-3, then they could still take the 5-3 team)This is the most prestigious bowl Rutgers has ever played in

who cares about them? not espn and and the money they will makeHow would that work for people who already made plans?
Bowls are nothing more than an exhibition game now. Coaches should treat them like spring practice. 50% of the best players skid the game, it is all about getting reps for the younger players. If fans can’t accept that and get hurt feelings, because another fan base made fun of them, they just need to develop thicker skin. Get your conference the additional 5.4 million and sack the fuck upI don't blame aTM.
When UF had to show up with half a team (mostly COVID) and play its 3rd string last year against Okla, nobody appreciated them showing up. Trask didn't even have anyone to throw to, but he showed-up. OU fans still brag about how they won.UF took a crock o' shit for that game which UF probably would have won easily with the full squad.
A team should show up and do their best - make some $ for their school and look like decent sports. But most CFB dipshit fuck fans don't understand this. So, might as well say "fuck it" and go to the beach.
they can still spread it.Wow that sucks, and is pretty stupid. Sitting out players who don't even feel a cough. Give not us, but them a break. End this fiasco of a "pandemic" in the NCAA.
Oh noes! Spreading a cold!they can still spread it.
we're never going to go back to normal w/ that logic. tired of this fucking shit.Oh noes! Spreading a cold!
oh no you still dont get that it CAN be serious and we don't know who will be greatly effected by it. ive seen people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s all admitted into the hospital for covid.Oh noes! Spreading a cold!

car crashes arent contagious. sure you could and the other person and maybe the car behind you. but the car behind you might also swerve.Yeah
And I can die in a car crash every time I drive my car.
Whats your point
By the way, they had players in the protocol. That doesn’t mean that the players had Covid. Very odd to cancel 1.5 weeks prior to the game based on protocolsOh noes! Spreading a cold!
I don’t feel any sympathy for any bowl. They can pound sand for all I care. Especially the Rose Bowl.Gator Bowl has a history of trying to push their weight around with the ACC and basically told the ACC that we don't care about your standings, we will always invite a 6-6 Clemson or FSU over a 10-2 Boston College. so yeah, i don't feel any sympathy for the Gator Bowl.
