You steal from him and he claims he will catch you....

The camera he spray painted was taking live photos of him doing it and sending it to the owner. Too funny! Cameras and recording technology has advanced faster than these opportunistic thieves realize. He was nicer about it than I would have been...

It makes no sense because it looked like the guy was fairly well off. Nice little house, and multiple vehicles, and that Powerstroke ain't cheap.

I know a methhead that used to be around here would steal anything metal that he could sell at the scrap yard to get a hit before he finally OD'd(didn't die, but he's permanently disabled). He got busted once for stealing a roll of fiber optic cable thinking it was copper and that he'd hit the jackpot. He would have definitely stolen a tailgate given the chance.
 
The kid handled it perfectly but not gonna lie I would have pressed charges because I‘d be pissed.
 
How utterly humiliating to be absolutely destroyed by a kid half your age. The dude definitely took the high road by not even taking the money for the cameras. That poor wife had no idea what a punk ass her husband is. Wonder if he has kids/grandkids that saw this video. I wouldn’t be able to show my face for a looooong time.

I fully admit that stealing from me is a major trigger. Being an accountant I could tell you stories of the stuff we’ve found and sometimes the amounts and time periods are shocking.

Fraud seminars they teach you that 75% of the population will steal from you and 90% of those will do so on the first day.
 
But I also think the kid is a nark. Could have got his stuff back and reimbursed for the cameras by showing the guy the pictures and threatening him with an ass whipping. No need to run and tattle to the cops
