Heard an interesting travel update. With all those missed, delayed and cancelled flights, connecting flights, etc. tens of thousands of checked luggage bags are winding up in destinations that are unrelated to the people who own them. I saw pics of hundreds of luggage with no security or checks around them. How are they going to get back to their owners? Think if you lost everything in a checked bag. Ugly.

This tells me never to check bags again, but instead to ship anything I need to check by UPS.

I hate checking a bag because of all the time it takes to GTFO of the airport, but I also hate putting stuff in the overhead because my suitcase is usually pretty heavy and I always feel like I'm gonna drop it on my head unless I'm with a taller person who can give me a spot. I'm sure it surprises everyone that I'm an over-packer

Last weekend was the best though... I packed pretty light because 1. I'm learning! and 2. I knew i'd be bringing a bunch of stuff home. But since others were driving, they took my suitcase home and all I had was my backpack and the last minute shit I bought in Downtown Disney. Would've breezed right through had I not forgotten to toss the water bottle at the bottom of my bag.
