too early?

Three meetings today, all only 30 minutes each. Nice way to glide into the weekend.

Put it all on Cincy and let it ride wooooo

Love New Years Eve, it gives me a chance to hear about all what celebrities did this past year, from taking pictures of themselves without makeup to very insightful quotes they gave. Topped off with watching them celebrate and bring in the new year and having them tell us how we should feel and think going into the new year.

Praise jeebus

NYE is financial assessment night. Hopefully I can convince the wife to retire.

Honestly never been a huge fan of New Years Eve. I could get behind CFP games being played on New Years Eve only because it gives something to the day. If I end up drinking, yeah it may be an excuse to drink a little more than any other friday or saturday night, but that usually leaves me to feeling like crap on new years day and then new years day becomes a pain.

Just overall an odd holiday that IMO falls way short of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas, but maybe because it's within the same "Holiday Season" gets lumped into those big days and it just isn't that great.

Sucks bc it's the end of the holiday season and back to start all over for the next year slaving away. If you stay up late or indulge in other things, you start the year off feeling rough. Plus winter time in the North just sucks anyway. At least we have College Football though.

That's the thing, besides this year anyways, usually New Years Eve is stay up late, have a little more drinks then usual, feel like crap on New Years day from the combination of staying up late and drinking, and you only get that one day to recover because it's usually back to work on January 2nd. So then January 2nd you're in desperate need of the weekend again because you've started the week sluggish.

I'm lucky I get the 2nd & 3rd to recover. Not really on the 2nd bc of a wrestling tournament (weather depending).
