Headed to Denver

Taking a trailer full of bottled water and blankets up to the devastated fire zone. Wish I could do more. My cousin and his family live 5 blocks from the Louisville portion of damage. So sad.
Even if we don't see eye to eye on many issues, it's admirable to get off your butt and make a difference. Hell, I live here and all I've done is donate via phone and grocery store credit card machine.

Thanks for taking the time to do this.

You’d be better off taking body bags at this point.

That post was made via cellphone in Denver, CO. Looks to be just west of Coors field.

They land depending on wind direction. Many options available
Stapletons biggest issues was it was too close to the mountains. If the right winds were coming off the mountain it would wreck havoc.

Even though DIA is much farther East the winds coming off the mountains can be crazy. The runway layout was to compensate better for this. Crosswinds are a bitch for planes taking off and landing.

Stapleton is just thinking of the customers health. Loved taking the one mile hikes between gates. Get the circulation going again making connections

It’s possible at DIA too. You just have to pass up on the shuttles and walk. Lol

It's been a while since I flew into Denver. Aren't DIA and Stapleton the same place?
No. The area that was Stapleton was developed into….mixed industrial/residential I want to say? Maybe just residential….I’ve not been in there.

DIA is many miles east….more out east of town where the land flattens out a lot.
