Does Antonio Brown get into Hall upon retirement? Will mental sickness be a factor?

what say you?

Of course it’s close.

He would have been a shoo-in, but it’s not close now. He’s trying to do damage control, but he’s proven time and again who he really is. People don’t forget that
His numbers are better than most already in.

Sure it will. He’s one of 5 players, ever, to have 100+ receptions and 15 tds in same season. The other four are already in
He’s a product of a pass-happy league. His numbers are inflated relative to players of the past. If he’s done now, he’s on the outside looking in.

Not even close.
The guy had some amazing stats while in Pittsburgh- unheard of until that point. Even allowing for what a complete nutjob he’s become since then, it’s hard to discount what he’d done prior to then. Basically he’s Randy Moss.

6 1/2 incredible years as a Steeler, but little else since then.

Did he bet on any games!?!?
If not he’s good, people with their morals can shove it.

If Calvin Johnson was first ballot I don’t see how AB isn’t a HOFer.

Or how his career is over. Cuz it’s not.

Off the field stuff shouldn’t impact what people think of his on-field performance.when AB showed up, he was the best WR playing (except for Megatron).

He’s a lot better than Calvin.

Who is also a quitter.

Detroit is a cursed organization and can make even the best position player quit.

But the point is that Johnson and Brown have comparable, even near-identical stats. And Johnson is in the HOF. Saying Brown doesn’t belong would require either mental gymnastics or some new argument that off-the-field antics somehow should be factored in. (And last I checked, Lawrence Taylor is in the HOF, and he’s a cokeheaded pedophile.)

I think diva WR's will get harder and harder to put in the HOF. The game has changed even in the last 30 years.

He probably gets in, but not first ballot. They will make him wait a few years, like TO.
