Is your team a has been program or a never was program?

if it makes you feel better, 1980 was bullshit too.
I just looked... holy shit, talk about one of the lightest schedules ever for a national championship team

5-6 Tennessee
4-7 A&M
6-5 Clemson
1-10 TCU
3-8 Ole Miss
2-9 Vandy
3-8 Kentucky
8-4 South Carolina
8-4 Florida
5-6 Auburn
1-9-1 GTech
9-2-1 ND

Not one team with 10+ wins. 8 out of 12 are below .500. Only South Carolina (14), Florida (20), and ND (7) were ranked.

Damn, anyone else have a worse record with a natty?

2017 UCF?

I want to be a smart ass with the way you worded the question, but I know what you meant

that beauty is why the universe will never let A&M win one while I walk the earth. The "living it up" would be more than women and children could handle.

Yeah, sure, that's why A&M won't win one :dhd:

Idk about that... 1980 UGA record of opponents 55-78-2 with a 40% win percentage.

2017 UCF 91-67 with a 57% win percentage.

Hey, Nebraska isn't out of the conversation. Nebraskas 1970 team did not have a tough schedule at all.

Do we need to hear this shit all year?

act like you’ve been there before.
But thats the issue, he hasnt, so this is typical for those who have never been there and done that. He is a newb, He will learn that when the target is on your back, its not easy to defend that title.

12-0 vs 12 major conference teams(I think SCar and GT were independent then, but you know what I mean.

I wasn’t around for it, so take the trophy for all I care.

Easy schedule or no, Texas and OSU should be ashamed of their claims for 1970. That was a Nebraska natty

You'll get one next year. My aggie neighbor told me so. Hell, you whooped dat Saban ass. Now you just need to handle those pesky Mississippi schools, the pigs and the next door neighbors.

weird, b/c GT joined the ACC for men's basketball in 1979, but didn't join it for football until 1982.

They got mad at Bama and left the SEC. They had the one magical season in 1990, but other outside of that year, they haven’t been the same as a program since then. Old timer Tech fans still hate Bama more than they hate UGA

55-78-2 with a 40% win percentage = "major conference"

Everyone should hate Bama, so those old timer Tech fans are pretty smart people
