Auburn shouldn’t be talking about non conference schedules. The top team you have coming up is Baylor, a perennial middle of the pack Big12 team. You just lost to a shitty Penn State team. Cal? Miami (Fl)? Both trash.
We are playing Cal and Miami because they would give us a game. That’s not the argument although if you look we have played the PAC 12 Champion at a neutral site back to back and played Clemson multiple times during their run including an SEC West schedule plus Georgia.

Don’t give me any scheduling crap because that dog don’t hunt. Auburn will play any B1G team that wants to schedule us and we’ll travel.

I promise you Ohio State will not.

tosu is playing UT in a couple of years.. Be a man and schedule us NEXT!!

Nope, I’ll drink corn liquor straight out of the jug

Yes scheduling Notre Dame, Texas, Alabama, Washington, Georgia, and Oregon again. Yep they won’t play anybody.

Dude ... how many times are you going to ignore the fact that if you want to use their injuries as an excuse, you have to take our injuries into consideration. Also, you extrapolated the SECG, which as you saw was quite a bit different. And, they were winning 3-0 or 6-3.

You are pretending ... you are totally saying they win if they didn't have injuries while not looking at what our situation would have been if we had a full slate.

If you don't think losing the players we lost didn't change how the game was played, you are kidding yourself.

FWIW, I am the one that realizes that injuries change the game. You are the one that is just looking at this one sided
Are you really trying to compare a Georgia player to Jameson Williams? Unless it was Nakobe Dean who was out for the game -- there really isn't a comparison. Williams was the best WR in CFB this year -- if he doesn't tear his knee up, he'd be a lock as a top 10 NFL pick and could have went in the top 5. You don't just replace that off the bench.

When you take out Metchie too -- that is like 2800 yards receiving and 20 tds lost. So who is your comparison that Georgia lost to injury?

I'm just curious. I was under the impression Georgia actually got guys back in the CFP, like Pickens. So who were the guys they were missing that was comparable to those two guys?

From UGA's perspective, we ain't scared. Here is our OOC the past decade and the next decade. I know Bama's is also good. UF is actually starting to travel a bit. Auburn has always traveled. LSU, too. Just went to UCLA, did the Lambeau thing with Wisky.

UGA:
GaTech - every year
Colorado
Boise State (H and neutral)
Arizona State
OkSU
UNC (N)
Notre Dame
Clemson (5 times)
Oregon (N)
OU
UCLA
FSU
Louisville
Texas
tOSU
NCState

In 6 different seasons in a row we have:
FSU/Louisville/GaTech
@Texas/FSU/GaTech
Texas/@Clemson/GaTech
Clemson/tOSU/GaTech
@tOSU/OU/GaTech
@Clemson/NCState/GaTech

Now, the OU/TX games will be IC now, but that was all scheduled before the merger.

I challenge anyone to put up a better OOC schedule than that. And we travel really, really well.

For fuck sake dude, we had our WR1 out all year and was at about 50% for the CFP. He's a 1st or 2nd rounder. WR2 was out the entire season. WR3 was out the entire season. Leading edge rusher was out. Starting right guard was out. All-American safety/star was out.

Pickens was 9 months off ACL surgery. He wasn't close to be back 100% which is why he got limited passes. Him coming back was like Waddle for Bama last year - decoy for the most part.

The point you keep missing is if you are going to make shit up and pretend the outcome would have been different based on players who didn't play - which I agree with, by the way, the games would have been different if all players each team had would have played - you have to look at both sides. It's ridiculous to say, well Bama would have won if they had their two WRs. Well maybe if we had WR1-3, leading edge rusher, starting right guard and AA safety maybe we win by even more. Hell, Bama had a bunch of other people out and banged up ... who knows what happens if they weren't injured and out. At the end of the day, it's next man up. We had our next men up and they beat their next men up.

I don't know why you are here making excuses for Bama. They aren't. They wouldn't want you to be because it pissed them off when Texas made the Colt McCoy excuses.

You are talking about having guys playing the ENTIRE YEAR as your starters vs. guys thrown into the starting role the last game or two of the year. You do realize the difference, right?

And who was your all-american Safety? Please tell me it isn't Tykee Smith. The guy was 4th team All-Big 12. And also please tell me you aren't talking about the guy being charged with rape.

I give up. And yes, those are two players we didn't have. But I can just go with the WRs. I'm done.

You’ve never seen me try and call out UGA on their schedule. They are one of the few SEC programs I feel is doing it right
